Marina Ninković is a professional journalist who has been painting all of her life.
In 2008, she discovered her passion for oil painting, and since then she has worked exclusively with this medium. As a dedicated amateur artist, Marina has extensively studied art theory through specialized literature and online tutorials focused on oil painting techniques. Between 2013 and 2015, she took private lessons with the painter Marcela Gjoni, which greatly influenced her artistic development.
Painting is not only her creative outlet but also a source of joy and fulfillment — she loves getting lost in the brushstrokes. She presented her first solo exhibition, “Impressions”, in 2024, showcasing years of devotion to painting and her journey to find a personal style between Impressionism and Realism.
Her inspiration comes from everyday life, travels, and nature outings, with landscapes and portraits of children being her favorite subjects. Due to family commitments, she primarily paints at home, transforming her living space into a personal studio.
With eight solo exhibitions in 2025 alone, Marina continues to evolve her craft and share her vision with the world.
Art historian and journalist Jasna Coce described Marina’s work as “bright, calm, optimistic, and powerful. Her use of color and light reveals a strong Impressionist influence, especially in landscapes and family scenes. Marina masterfully blends everyday life with nature, capturing a quiet yet vibrant atmosphere.”
